Mentorship + Diversity = Inclusion
We connect YOUth with professionals based on similar career interests and different cultural backgrounds.
- 1:1 career-focused mentorship on different fields: international relations, law, STEM, business, entrepreneurship, finance, and many more
- Monthly career development and job skills workshops
- A platform to amplify the voices of diversity through authentic career stories
How It Works
Tell us about your background, goals, and interests. Would you like to be a mentor or a mentee?
Using a magic formula, we connect you to someone with a different background but we know you'll love.
Together, we use dialogue to build a more understanding and inclusive world for all.
About Us
The Mentorculture Movement works to provide equal mentorship opportunities to Canadian youth regardless of their race and socio-economic status. We believe in the development of close-knit, dynamic and lasting relationships.
The Mentorculture Movement was founded by 5 participants of Global Vision’s 2020 National Youth Ambassador Caucus.
“How do I choose my university program? How can I kickstart my career? What skills are valuable in our ever-evolving workplace?” During the Caucus, we were able to meet some of Canada’s top leaders and role models who helped us answer these questions.
Yet, we recognize that many young people, especially those from BIPOC communities, do not have these professional connections or role models to look up to. Our vision is that all youth have an equal chance to personal growth and development.
Thanks to our pool of ambitious and successful mentors, who are also Global Vision alumni, we help youth acquire strong leadership and communication skills, and become more goal-focused and open-minded.
